Hillsborough River (Prince Edward Island) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hillsborough River (Prince Edward Island) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "The river was bridged by the Prince Edward Island Railway between Charlottetown and Southport on the massive Hillsborough River Bridge, one of the longest railway bridges in eastern Canada, as well as one of the longest narrow gauge railway bridges in the world, as well as on a much shorter crossing in Mount Stewart.
The modern highway bridge was constructed adjacent to the railway bridge between Charlottetown and Southport in 1962 and was modernized and expanded in 1995. Additional highway bridges cross the river at Mount Stewart and at several points upstream from Mount Stewart."

The Learning Trail was dedicated to a Spirit of Adventure
I never met Shane MacIsaac except through his parents Maitland and Anne.
Shanes energy still influences people on the the Trail today.
We named our space a learning trail.
The Shane MacIssac Learning Trail.
With Stories Stone's and Station's.
To stop and think along the way .
The Confederation Trail is a learning trail.
With Stories Stone's and Station's
To stop and think along the way .
We are motivated by adventure and a parents love.
For learning and adventure and a place to sit and play.

Contract vs. Employment
Contract vs. Employment: "Following are some common points to consider when faced with making a decision on contract vs. employment:
- Contractors are usually hired for a fixed duration to perform very specific tasks or complete a designated project.
- Employees usually perceive more job stability than contractors.
- Contractors are expected to be skilled professionals and should require little ramp-up time, training or guidance.
- Contractors can earn up to 10-25% more than a respective employee.
- Contractors usually sign extensive Employment Agreements that are geared towards protecting the interests of a client company.
- Employees normally receive sick pay, whereas contractors do not.
- Contractors are normally paid on an hourly basis vs. salaried and therefore are paid for every hour they work.
- Contractors achieve more diversity through exposure to multiple companies and diverse projects.
- Contractors usually avoid office politics that can entangle and sidetrack employees.
- Employees are usually eligible for promotions and can apply for new positions within an organization, whereas contractors usually are not.
- Contractors may not be eligible to participate in a company's employee-related functions."
